EAST PEORIA, Ill. — Texas Roadhouse restaurants across Illinois are partnering with local law enforcement agencies for a free lunch fundraiser that will raise money for the Special Olympics Illinois this Friday.
For the ninth year now, Texas Roadhouse is providing free lunches from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. Friday where local law enforcement officers will be serving the lunch. Every donation made goes entirely towards the Special Olympics Illinois.
The East Peoria location, at 600 Riverside Dr, is one of the participating locations. Additionally, locations in Countryside, Crystal Lake, Joliet, Naperville, Rockford and Tinley Park are set to participate.
The free lunch includes a pulled pork sandwich, corn, fresh-baked bread with honey-cinnamon butter and a non-alcoholic beverage.
