Street Ministry prays for those who need it

PEORIA, Ill. — A group from Riverside Community Church is taking prayer to people who need it in East Bluff.

This is the first season organizers have hosted their street ministry in East Bluff. They’ve previously prayed in Harrison Homes and Taft Homes.

They host their ministry on the first and third Friday of every month.

On Friday night, they were at the corner of Arcadia and Wisconsin.

“The more you pray over a neighborhood, the more positive change comes,” said Patrick Coyle, one of the organizers.

The group welcomes anyone to pray with them and hopes to be able to share their beliefs with others.
