Stuff-A-Bus Night at the Peoria Rivermen game

Peoria Rivermen, CityLink and the Peoria Friendship House of Christian Service are hosting Stuff-A-Bus night at the Peoria Rivermen game against the Mississippi River Kings on Saturday.

The first 1000 fans who bring a donation of non-perishable food to the game will receive a Peoria Rivermen t-shirt featuring the Stuff-A-Bus logo on the back. One donation is required per person and the t-shirt giveaway is limited to one t-shirt per person.

The goal this yearis to collect 11 tons of food to help sustain the food pantry at the Peoria Friendship House for the upcoming year.

For the past 31 years, CityLink has hosted the Stuff-A-Bus food drive to help eliminate hunger in Peoria. The donations collected during the annual food drive benefit the food pantry at the Peoria Friendship House of Christian Service.

Since January of this year, the Peoria Friendship House food pantry has provided meals weekly to 40-50 families who are dealing with hunger in Peoria.

This Stuff-A-Bus event will be located at the Peoria Civic Center, 201 SW Jefferson Avenue, Saturday, November 10 – Doors open at 6:15 p.m.; Game times 7:15 p.m.
