McLean County Arts Center’s Sugar Creek Arts Festival will be held in Uptown Normal on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15.
Arts and crafts vendors from across the country will display their talents and products at one of the most popular craft festivals in the Midwest.
The event will highlight 128 of the most talented artists around.
Due to the festivities the following streets will be affected: On Friday, North Street from Fell to Uptown Circle, Broadway Avenue at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and North Street, Constitution Blvd from Uptown Circle to College, E. Beaufort from Uptown Circle to Linden, W. Beaufort from Uptown Circle to the Uptown Station parking deck, and Uptown Circle will be signed “NO PARKING” after 1:00pm and will be closed at 2:00pm for vendor set up.
These streets will remain closed for the duration of this event.
The festival hours are 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday and 11 am – 4 pm on Sunday. Parking will be free in the College Avenue deck and the Parkinson Avenue parking lot. For an hourly fee, parking will be available at the ISU deck on the corner of S. Parking in the Uptown Station parking deck is free on Sunday.
