PEORIA, Ill. — Close to 30 vendors and restaurants will be offering a bite to eat on Wednesday at the 38th annual Taste of Peoria.
For the first time, it’s being held at Northwoods mall, due to construction at the Murray Baker Bridge.
Organizers say the move has its benefits, and they’re hoping the new layout of the event will help with lines.
There will also be a shuttle going around the mall, bringing people to the gates. People can also walk through the mall to get to the event.
On Tuesday, organizers could be seen setting up for the event.
“We’ve been excited for a few months, kinda just planning it out on paper, but yesterday when we came out and actually set up the fence, and started looking at the booth space and how everything was gonna be, now its getting really exciting,” said Taste of Peoria co-chair Jessica Noland.
The Taste of Peoria will be from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Northwoods Mall with entrances near JC Penney and The Room Place.
