The Charles Schwab branch in Peoria partnered with the Tazewell Animal Protective Society to help shelter animals find a forever home.
They had over five lovable dogs on the site Saturday looking for owners and even more back at the shelter.
This event also served as a fundraiser and food and supplies drive.
Those who attended were urged to bring TAPS its most needed items such as puppy pads, laundry soap and sanitizer.
“What a great event this is because this gives the community a chance to come in, meet these dogs,” Charles Schwab branch leader Gary Craig said. “If you can meet them and not take one home good luck with that. It’s just a good organization and a good opportunity for everybody to understand what TAPS does locally and what their needs are.”
Those who did not make it to the event Saturday can still adopt a pet and or make a donation to the animal shelter.
