For the 5th straight year in a row, the Gingerbread House in Bloomington is putting on its annual Lego Building Contest.
On Feb. 16, children ages 3 to 13 were asked to bring in a 10-by-10 creation out of legos, that will be on display in the store.
Since then, the Gingerbread House staff have placed pictures on Facebook and have set up a voting center inside the store to allow people to vote digitally or in person.
Those who wish to vote can go and submit a ballot at their location or can visit the “5th Annual Lego Building Contest” page on Facebook.
Leaders of the contest say, although they have to choose a winner, they are proud of all the creations.
“It’s so fun,” said Marisa Larkin, Sales Associate with The Gingerbread House. “I think it’s so important, creativity is vital to any childs development. I think the most exciting part is seeing how excited these kids are to bring it in, they have something to really be proud of.”
The contest ends Saturday and the winner(s) will be announced on Sunday.
