PEORIA, Ill — The Big Table Greater Peoria will bring the community together to sort out visions for the future.
It’s an event where local organizations and leaders plan to meet with the public on four talking points. Groups will chat about quality of life, workforce and education, and other topics. Representatives say it’s a way to build on our strengths and bring more opportunities to the area.
“It’s also a reawakening of our communities and we want it to be an ongoing conversation, because we need everyone with us to redefine and promote what’s great about our area and what’s going to launch the next generation of success,” said Jeff Griffin, president of Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Big Table Greater Peoria is scheduled to launch at the Peoria Civic Center on October 15th.
