BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — There’s been another delay in the case against Bloomington man John Y. Butler who is accused of mishandling money while he managed the U.S. Cellular Coliseum, now Grossinger Motors Arena.

Authorities say Illinois State Police agent Daniel Rossiter, is needed in court to testify in a motion to suppress evidence.

However, prosecutors told the judge, Rossiter recently had surgery and will be unable to testify until August 5th.

Butler faces more than 40 criminal charges including theft of public funds, wire fraud, and tax-related offenses.

The case has been postponed until August 28th.
