BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — A Bloomington golf course is helping raise money for a good cause while allowing people to play a round for prizes.
The Den at Fox Creek had their first ever Folds of Honor Golf Classic on Monday.
Folds of Honor is an organization that gives scholarships to the children and partners of fallen or disabled veterans.
“We’ve been involved (in Folds of Honor) since 2007,” said Gold Director, Jason Wingate. “This year we actually wanted to do a full-fledged outing, and we’ve had a great turnout so far. We are raising money for a great cause.”
Those who participated got to be placed in a raffle, enjoyed food and drinks and had the opportunity to win prizes.
