BELLFLOWER, Ill. — Many in Central Illinois were victim to tornadoes that left several structures damaged.
One of them is a machine shed just off of Illinois route 54 in Bellflower that was completely destroyed in the middle of the night.
The owners say they were asleep when it was destroyed, but when they came outside on Sunday, they were stunned.
“As a kid I remember having some close calls, but we have never had one hit our property like this,” said Home Owner, Brent Golden. “We’ll have to rebuild the shed to house all the farm equipment, so we’ll just see, one day at a time is how we will get through this.”
Luckily the home was not hit. Golden says he hopes to have the shed rebuilt in the upcoming months.
