TREMONT, Ill. (WMBD)– The Tremont District Library was forced to close early on Thursday for professional pest control.
Lizzi Ogle, the youth director at Tremont Public Library confirms the closing is due to a small invasion of yellowjacket hornets.
Ogle explains it was simply easier to close the entire library rather than sequester off certain areas.
The library should be back to normal operation on Friday.
