Uncle Bob’s Homemade Ice Cream opening day in Eureka

Local News

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Uncle Bob’s!

The homemade ice cream shop has opened its doors, and the community was ready for it.

From 5-10 on Friday, Uncle Bob’s is selling $1 cones.

The shop will be selling 16 different flavors on Friday, but has 80 flavors in its arsenal of homemade ice cream.

The Vice President of Uncle Bob’s was preparing for this opening all night last night, and is ready for a successful first day.

“It’s awesome.  We’ve got a nice sunny day and I’m excited, I know a lot of our customers are too.  We’ll have a line out the door tonight and throughout most of the day too.  It’s always fun to kick off the year,” said Uncle Bob’s VP Ben Bally.

“We open the doors, we turn our open sign and all of a sudden people show up.  Every year it’s really encouraging and it’s really exciting to see people come on opening night and then they come all summer,” said Bally.

Bally says he appreciates all of Uncle Bob’s loyal customers, and that it is always an exciting time to open up his family’s business.
