You have the chance to be a good neighbor next week.
Washington’s Good Neighbor Days run May 30 through June 3. Volunteers are needed to serve food and drinks, help in the information tent, and assist with parking.
Leaders say people have a blast giving back.
“Our volunteers have so much fun volunteering,” says Chevie Kriete, director of Washington’s Chamber of Commerce. “You really do get to see so many different people that are coming into the community. We have kids that write us letters and come back and say, ‘Good Neighbor Days is my favorite thing in Washington, and we have so much fun out there,’ so it’s a great way to be a part of that.”
If you’re interested in volunteering, you can send an email to the Chamber.
