A Washington ice cream place is welcoming customers after a winter hibernation.
Ice Cream Shack of Sunnyland opened up again Friday. The owner says warm weather really draws a crowd of hungry people. Looking toward the future, he says he hopes to add funnel cakes to the list of treats. He says the menu selection is their claim to fame.
“Our biggest thing is our selection, we have one of the largest selections in the area if not the largest selection in the area. There’s pretty much something for everybody, and then throw in our food options on top of that, if you can’t find something on our menu we’re in trouble,” says William Reis, owner of the shop.
The ice cream shop will be doing several fundraisers this year, including one for St. Jude.
