Washington Police find drugs, pistol while executing search warrant

The Washington Police Department teamed up with the Peoria Metropolitan Enforcement Group to make a drug and firearm arrest Wednesday.

Officers and agents served a search warrant on a home in the 100 block of North High Street in Washington Wednesday. They found suspected cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, heroin, and other substances, as well as a pistol.

They arrested 31-year-old Jesse D. Hexamer on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. 

He’s being held at the Tazewell County Jail.
