Winning $750,000 lottery ticket sold in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Anyone that recently purchased a lottery ticket in Bloomington on may want to check their numbers.

A Casey’s General Store gas station in Bloomington sold a $750,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Aug. 16 evening drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s General Store, 2017 Fox Creek Road, and matched all five numbers – 1- 12- 16 – 31 – 34 – to win the jackpot. The retailer will receive a bonus of $7,500 of the prize amount for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
