PEORIA, Ill. — A local yoga studio hosted a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s today.
Jacaranda in Junction City held two classes with donations going to Tee it for Alz.
Its a local nonprofit that supports the Peoria Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
“We just fell in love with the organization and the cause. And so we just teamed up together to start an organization and it’s working out really well so far,” said Olivia Svymbersky, a co-founder of Tee it for Alz.
Tee it for Alz will be hosting their big event, a golf tournament, in August.
