Young Girl and Her Mom Work to be the Voice for Kids With Juvenile Arthritis

Local News

A young girl in Central Illinois is dealing with some serious health problems.

Ava has juvenile arthritis and uveitis in her right eye causing blindness.

But this eight-year-old is bubbly and has adapted to be able to do many of the things kids love.

She and her mom work hard to be the voice for others just like Ava.

They’ve even hosted a fundraising event to help cover medical expenses, and put together care packages for others.

It’s their efforts that make them CI Heroes.
