The University of Texas in Dallas has banned former Baylor University student Jacob Anderson from campus and will not let him attend graduation ceremonies.

The University made the announcement through Twitter, citing the recent court preceding where Anderson pleaded No Contest to a charge of Unlawful Restraint. That was a downgrade from the original charge os Sexual Assault.

A female student says the former fraternity president raped her during a party in 2016. Prosecutors offered Anderson the plea deal in October, saying there were inconsistencies in the woman’s story.

Students at UTD started a petition drive on Moveon.org to have him removed from the campus after learning about the incident.
