A Peoria company that has been around for nine decades is giving residents the opportunity to give back and help those in need. In honor of the Peoria Disposable Company’s 90 year anniversary the company is helping recycling customers give to Easterseals.
PDC customers will now have the option to either be refunded their $50 deposit or “recycle” it as a donation to the nonprofit. By donating the money residents will help hundreds of kids reach major milestones.
“Every an hour of highly specialized pediatric therapy costs$150,” said Steve Thompson, President & CEO of Easterseals. “The money will go to support a wide variety of programs services and support for children with disabilities and their families throughout central Illinois.”
If a resident donates $50 in their name, they will become an inaugural member of the Easterseals Can-Do-Crew.
