Two People Arrested After Shooting in Hanna City

Three gunshot victims show up to Peoria hospitals just after midnight on Tuesday and the sheriff’s office said their injuries are related.

The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office said that its investigation revealed that there was a group of 30-50 people, all between 17-23 years old, at a home in the 2800 block of Murphy Road in Hanna City.  When they went to the area, deputies found evidence that a shooting did happen there. There was also evidence that people had been using drugs and alcohol.

Officials said that a lot of the people there attend local high schools.

The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office was later able to track down Ryan Miller who they arrested on charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, No Valid FOID, and Mob Action.

They also arrested Steve Covington for Mob Action.

Deputies believe they did find the gun used.
