Special Olympics Illinois - Spring Games 2018

The weather is getting warmer and, for Special Olympics Illinois athletes everywhere, that means soon it will be time for Spring Games!

Special Olympics Illinois hosts 19 Spring Games throughout the state, with almost 10,000 athletes competing over a 3-week span. 

They also looking for dedicated volunteers – you can register to volunteer at one of these events online at this Volunteer Page.

Below is a list of Spring Games events taking place around the state: 

  • Region A – April 28 at Hall High School in Spring Valley
  • Region A – May 5 at Harlem High School in Machesney Park
  • Region B – April 22 at Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect
  • Region B – May 6 at Lake Zurich High School in Lake Zurich
  • Region C – April 29 at Marmion Academy in Aurora
  • Region D – May 3 – May 11 at Dunbar Park in Chicago (OC at Soldier Field on May 4)
  • Region E – May 5 at Thornwood High School in South Holland
  • Region F – May 5 at Sunnylane Athletic Field in Monmouth
  • Region G – April 29 at Eastside Centre in East Peoria
  • Region H – May 5 at Glenwood High School in Chatham
  • Region I – April 27 at Eastern Illinois University’s O’Brien Field in Charleston
  • Region I – May 12 at Warrensburg-Latham High School in Warrensburg
  • Region J – April 28 at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in Edwardsville
  • Region K – April 27 at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in Carbondale
  • Region K – May 4 at Mt. Vernon Township High School in Mt. Vernon
