Former Green Bay Packers safety LeRoy Butler is one of 25 modern-era semifinalists for enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the second straight year.
Butler was a four-time All-Pro in his 12 seasons with the Packers. He was the first defensive back in NFL history to accumulate 20 interceptions and 20 sacks. Butler finished his career with 38 interceptions and 20½ sacks in 181 regular-season games.
The next cut down comes in January when Butler will attempt to make the final 15 finalists for the first time.
