Looking at Elmwood-Brimfield’s football scores, you might think the Trojans have never trailed this year.
The unbeaten Trojans have won two impressive games after trailing early in the game.
“It shows that we are fighters, we are not going to give up,” said E-B senior Jackson Harkness. “They might get us for a touchdown or two but we’ll come back.”
The Trojans surrendered a long TD pass in the opening minutes of the season at Stark County. Then scored 47 straight points and won, 47-6.
Elmwood-Brimfield spotted Annawan-Wethersfield a 14-0 lead before rallying to win 35-28 last week.
“It just says that we’re not going to give up when we get down and we’re always going to fight until the end,” said senior Sam Marincic.
This week the Trojans play another undefeated team, Peoria-Heights-Quest.
“We are identifying who we are and what we need to fix. It really is a process that goes on,” said E-B head coach Todd Hollis. “I think they are excited about it and understand it is a process.”
