Boot Camp: Farmington Expects Big Defense Even After DePriest Graduation

High School Football

FARMINGTON, Ill — The Farmington High School football team hasn’t lost a regular season game since 2015.

The Farmers did lose a big reason for those unbeaten regular seasons — Jarod DePriest. The former all-state lineman graduated in May and is now playing at South Dakota State.

His presence is gone but the Farmers return three of their four defensive lineman from last year and expect to be stout defensively in 2019. And members of the current Farmer’s line say they have DePriest to thank for setting them up for another big season.
