PEORIA, Ill. — They won their final two games of last season to get into the Illinois High School state football playoffs for the eighth straight year but Notre Dame lost a big senior class from that team.
These Irish aren’t fazed. Coach Pat Armstrong says his players have built a nice chemistry as fall practice begins.
And speaking of beginning. On the first day of practice, all the PND players arrived 30 minutes early and started practice on their own.
“These guys are ready,” Armstrong said.
Notre Dame opens the season Aug. 31 at home against Normal West.
