Boot Camp: El Paso-Gridley Linebackers Keep Titans in Line

Boot Camp

EL PASO, Ill. — The El Paso-Gridley Titans have a new coach who is an offensive guy.

But the Titans may shine on defense thanks to veteran linebackers.

Former ISU quarterback Luke Drone takes over as Titans head coach. He previously served as offensive coordinator at Bloomington High School.

But he has seniors in the middle of his defense that may overshadow his offense. Hunter Armstrong and Nash Soller will anchor a defense that will try and bring the school into the state playoffs for the fourth time in five years.
