Boot Camp: West Wildcats Riding Wave of Quarterfinal Run

Boot Camp

NORMAL, Ill. — A little Monday morning rain can’t dampen the enthusiasm at Normal West.

The Wildcats opened football practice in a light rain with 120 players in helmets. The coach staff says that’s the biggest turnout in years.

Might have something to do with the school’s first appearance in the state quarterfinals in 2018. The Wildcats hope to ride that momentum through the 2019 season.
