PEORIA, Ill. — The annual basketball camp named after a young Peorian who died in a house fire twenty years ago begins Saturday.
The Julius DeLoatche Summer Basketball Camp starts at 1 p.m. at Peoria’s Dream Center. It will run each Saturday until Aug. 3.
The free camp is run by James DeLoatch, the father of Julius. His son was ten-years-old when he died in the fire.
