PONTIAC, Ill.–Pontiac is coming off an 8-1 regular season and an appearance in the second round of the playoffs last season.

The Indians return between four starters on both sides of the ball and are motivated to continue their success.

Pontiac has made the playoffs in three of the last four seasons and is aiming for a conference championship.

“If you can win a conference championship in our conference, that means you’re gonna be 9-0 or at worst, 8-1, which is going to give you a good seed for the playoffs. They’re wanting to build off of last years success that we had an just keep it going,” said Pontiac’s Head Coach Alan Kuchefski.

“The main thing we are wanting to do is just bring it every game. Get as far as we can, just keep working everyday and practice day by day,” said Pontiac Senior Steven Lewis.

Pontiac hosts Central Catholic in week one.
