Report: Spack Interviews With Purdue

National Sports

Brock Spack has interviewed for the vacant Purdue coaching job, according to a report by CBS Sports.

Writer Dennis Dodd cites an anonymous source saying the Illinois State coach has talked to Purdue, where he played from 1979-1983. Spack was also a 16-year assistant coach at Purdue.

Spack had no comment on the report as his team prepares for its third consecutive Football Championship Subdivision playoff appearance. ISU travels to Central Arkansas on Saturday.
