Washington Wins 4th Annual Dubtown Throwdown


It’s a big night for high school wrestling at the Five Points in Washington: the fourth annual Dubtown Throwdown. Wrestling on a stage under a spotlight..  

Really cool atmosphere. The Panthers host Aurora Christian, both teams won state championships last year.     

At 113 pounds, state runner up Abe Hinrichsen picks up a major decision victory to start off the night.

At 138 pounds, senior Hunter Mamer will get the pinfall here for another Washington win.

Check out freshman Donnie Hidden, an IESA champion. He gets the major decision win here.

And state runner up Jared Head with an impressive win over state qualifier Jack Certa in a pinfall win. Washington wins the meet 50-21.
