In February of this year, Aidan Williams was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. As you can imagine, this is the most devastating news any parent wants to hear. Aidan has now started treatment here in Peoria at St. Jude. Since Aidan’s diagnosis, TJ and Chelsea have been unable to work so they can focus on Aidan and his medical care. With not having an income and with all of the medical expenses, we would like to come together as a community and help this wonderful family.
Rick Linthicum and Kristi Cape join Shelbey Roberts to tell you more about the upcoming benefit the community plans to have to raise money for the Williams family.
On May 12th, TJ Trained will be holding its annual wrestling tournament with all proceeds going to help the Williams Family. At the tournament there will be t-shirt sales, concessions and a bake sale. This event will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Tremont High School.
Starting at 3:30 p.m. that afternoon, we will be holding a spaghetti dinner at Countryside Banquet Facility in Washington Il. There will be live music, cash bar and auction items.
This is where we need your help! We are asking for donations to help this benefit be a HUGE success and to truly help a wonderful family that has helped so many. If you would like to donate an item or service, please contact us. Any monetary donations can be made out to TJ TRAINED AIDAN STRONG. Please contact Brittany Conway at 309-696-7379 or Rick Linthicum at 309-303-4025 and they will help arrange pickup of your donation items.
