At least 30 million people in the US – all ages and genders – suffer from an eating disorder.
Every 62 minutes at least one person dies as a direct result from an eating disorder.
While we may think of teenagers and young people having an eating disorder, 13% of women over 50 engage in this behavior.
Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge Eating Disorder are the most commonly known eating disorders.
Because of the complex nature of eating disorders, OSF offers a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment, including offering support groups.
