Troutman Park Day in the Park

Troutman Park is throwing their 6th annual Day in the Park event! Jeff Troutman joins us for an interview to tell us more.

The event is called " A Day in the Park". It's the 6th year for this event, and is usually our main fundraiser. This year, however, since they lost our fall fundraiser of concessions sales with the loss of JFL football, they are bringing Nashville recording artist James Carothers to the Stark County 4H Fairgrounds in Wyoming on September 15th as this years big fundraiser. Details of this event are still being finalized but it will also feature Cadillac Jack and Toulon native Tashi Bachman who now performs in Nashville and has done recordings with Joe Stamm. This Saturday's event features a breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30, lunch starts at 10:30 and runs until the events end. There is a 5k race, bouncy houses for the kids, craft show, blind draw bags tournament at noon, and a softball tournament starting at 10am. Even if you do not have a team but can play softball ball, show up by 10am and we can place you on a team. Cost is $20 a person for softball available to anyone 15 years old or older. Silent auction with bids ending at 3pm, music,$2 beers, soda, water. Check out the Troutman Park Facebook page for more details
